• Fizzy Lizard will not and does not accept responsibility for the supervision of children.

 

• Fizzy Lizard ask that all children be sufficiently supervised for their own needs whilst at play to ensure social distancing can be adhered to. Whilst all measures have been put in place to promote safe play, please have consideration that distancing may not always be possible with children, therefore by agreeing to the terms of our play you are taking the responsibility of distancing you and your child and so Fizzy Lizard cannot be held responsible for any distancing breaches.

 

• Adults and children are not permitted to attend their play session if they are displaying or exhibiting Covid-19 symptoms such as a temperature, loss or change of taste/smell and a new continuous cough. Please inform Fizzy Lizard as soon as possible so new arrangements can be made so you do not lose monies.

 

• All adults and children should adhere to the social distancing measures Fizzy Lizard has put in place. Please keep a minimum distance of 1 metre from others whilst in the soft play area, and a minimum of two-metre distance whilst in the seating area.

 

• Tables and chairs cannot be moved without staff approval.

 

• All adults must wear a face mask whilst in Fizzy Lizard. Face masks can only be removed when sat at a table consuming food and drink.

 

• Children must be under 148cm (4’10”) in height to play. Age restrictions are dependent on the play zone the child is in.

 

• Please remove shoes before entering the indoor play area. Shoes must be worn in the outdoor play area.

 

• Belts, buckles, watches, jewellery and sharp objects are not allowed on the indoor play equipment. Spectacles must have shatterproof glass. We also ask pockets be checked for any inappropriate item before entering the play area.

 

• Socks must be worn inside at all times.

 

• Adults and children should use the hand sanitizers located at the entrance on arrival and when departing.

 

• Adults and children should wash their hands before entering the play area and after food consumption.

 

• Children who are unwell are not permitted in Fizzy Lizard and should not play on the equipment. As a result of this rule any child who displays signs of sickness for example, vomiting will be asked to leave. Cash reimbursement cannot be offered; however, we will give free return play pass to the child/ren affected so they can return when the illness has passed.

 

• Play is restricted to a maximum of 90 minutes. This is in conjunction with our all in all out play safe method therefore walk in play sessions will not be permitted.

 

• We reserve the right to remove children from the play areas who are: fighting, bullying, throwing or damaging equipment, or climbing on the netted walls or play structure.

 

• In the event of fighting or bullying we welcome customers to make staff aware, however if the supervising parents/carers are able to resolve the situation alone Fizzy Lizard staff will not intervene. If staff are consulted, we will then follow our behaviour policy. At Fizzy Lizard we believe children should have the chance to redeem themselves after receiving a warning, therefore staff will speak with the parties involved and explain that If negative behaviour persists, we will ask the offending child to leave. In the event of uncertainty, we will issue a warning to all involved; please note this is because we will not take sides.

 

• We recommend that children wear long sleeves and trousers. Football shirts/man-made clothing (eg nylon) are not recommended.

 

• No food, drink or chewing gum should be taken into the play area.

 

• For health and safety reasons, only food purchased at Fizzy Lizard may be consumed on the premises. Please report any spillages to a member of staff.

 

• Please report any safety/maintenance concerns to a member of staff so it can be recorded appropriately.

 

• Whilst every consideration has been given to the safety of the children, Fizzy Lizard cannot be held responsible for accidents that occur as a result of children playing on the equipment. Please report any accidents to staff who have access to first aid equipment. All accidents will be logged and we will endeavour to minimise the potential of re-occurance.

 

• Fizzy Lizard will not facilitate multiple households meeting up when government guidance states it is not permitted.

 

• Failure to comply with any of these terms/rules of play may result in removal or entry refusal.
