Fizzy Lizard are committed to ensuring that all visitors enjoy their time with us. When you attend a play session with us, you agree to the following terms:

Rules of play
  • Fizzy Lizard will not and does not accept responsibility for the supervision of children.
  • Children must be sufficiently supervised for their own needs whilst at play.
  • Children must be under 148cm (4’10”) in height to play. Age restrictions are dependent on the play zone the child is in.
  • Adults and children should wash their hands before entering the play area and after food consumption.
  • Children who are unwell are not permitted in Fizzy Lizard and should not play on the equipment. As a result of this rule any child who displays signs of sickness for example, vomiting will be asked to leave. Cash reimbursement cannot be offered; however, we will give free return play pass to the child/ren affected so they can return when the illness has passed.
  • In the event of fighting or bullying we welcome customers to make staff aware, however if the supervising parents/carers are able to resolve the situation alone Fizzy Lizard staff will not intervene. If staff are consulted, we will then follow our behaviour policy.
  • At Fizzy Lizard we believe children should have the chance to redeem themselves after receiving a warning. In the event of negative behaviour, our staff will therefore speak with the parties involved and explain that if such negative behaviour persists, we will ask the offending child to leave.
  • In the event of uncertainty, we will issue a warning to all involved; please note this is because we will not take sides.
  • We reserve the right to remove children from the play areas who are: fighting, bullying, throwing or damaging equipment, or climbing on the netted walls or play structure.
Acceptable Use of The Playgym
  • Shoes must be removed before entering the indoor play area.
  • Socks must be worn in the indoor play area at all times.
  • Shoes must be worn in the outdoor play area.
  • We recommend that children wear long sleeves and trousers. Football shirts/man-made clothing (eg nylon) are not recommended.
  • Belts, buckles, watches, jewellery and sharp objects are not allowed on the indoor play equipment. Spectacles must have shatterproof glass. We also ask pockets be checked for any inappropriate item before entering the play area.
  • No food, drink or chewing gum should be taken into the play area.
  • Tables and chairs cannot be moved without staff approval.
  • For health and safety reasons, only food purchased at Fizzy Lizard may be consumed on the premises.
  • Please report any spillages to a member of staff.
  • Please report any safety/maintenance concerns to a member of staff so it can be recorded appropriately.
Whilst every consideration has been given to the safety of the children, Fizzy Lizard cannot be held responsible for accidents that occur as a result of children playing on the equipment. Please report any accidents to staff who have access to first aid equipment. All accidents will be logged and we will endeavour to minimise the potential of re-occurance.
Failure to comply with any of these terms/rules of play may result in removal or entry refusal.
Children's Birthday Parties | Terms & Conditions

Terms of Booking

  • A nonrefundable £50 deposit is required to secure a birthday party at Fizzy Lizard.
  • Our play gym is strictly for children aged 8 and under. No child over this age will be allowed to play even if they are siblings of the party child.
  • Please confirm the final number of children you have coming 2 days before your party by calling us, as this will be the minimum charge we will apply on the day.
  • Any additional children who come to the gym, but aren't included in the original number of party guests will need to be paid for separately. Please ensure this is communicated to your party guests in advance.
  • All terms listed in our 'Rules of Play' and 'Acceptable Use of The Play Gym' fully apply to birthday parties.
  • Printed party invitations are available upon request.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes before your party is scheduled to start:
    • Your party host will greet you and communicate any important information at this point.
    • Full payment is required when you arrive for your party.
  • There must be at least 1 adult for every 5 children attending the party in order to supervise. We reserve the right to refuse admission to any children that cannot be supervised according to this ratio.

Party Food & Drink

  • Food cannot be ordered from the kitchen after 3pm.
  • Food not prepared on the premises cannot be consumed in the gym, this includes birthday cake.
  • Hot + cold drinks and counter snacks are available until 5.45pm.
  • Any damages or major cleaning costs incurred during a private party will be charged to you at the discretion of the management.
  • Please note that any amendments to food requirements need to be confirmed at least one week prior to your party date. Unfortunately, we may not be able to accommodate any changes after this date and they could incur additional charges.
  • Due to the cost of ingredients, parties with multiple dietary requirements may incur an additional charge, at the discretion of Fizzy Lizard. If the party has more than 5 children with dietary requirements, an additional charge of £1.50 per child will apply.
  • While we do our best to cater for all dietary requirements, unfortunately, there may be occasions when we cannot meet all of your requirements. If this happens, we will ensure that you are notified of this within 2 working days of receiving confirmation of your food order.
